Doug & Yvonne Johns

With a love to travel and explore new frontiers, Doug & Yvonne have crisscrossed North America numerous times pursuing dreams of education and ministry. They started life together in Ontario, then Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, British Columbia, back to New England, back to BC, back to Ontario, back to BC …. and next?!

Doug did a mission trip to North India in 2009 and another one to Romania in 2010. He added three more Romania visits in 2011, accompanied by Yvonne on the October trip. This couple loves international travel, and even more importantly, meet, greet, encourage, and learn as they interact with Christians all over the world.

Yvonne is a professional photographer and a Creative Memories (CM Group) advisor (scrapbooking, photo preservation). Yvonne is also and advocate and distributor of Young Living Essential Oils.  

Doug has a personal blog http://dougjohns.net At age 59 Doug took up running and has run in marathons in Romania, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Greece, Canada and the United States.

Yvonne was born in England but found her way across London Bridge to Toronto. Doug & Yvonne attended the same high school, and both had their spiritual roots in a great church – St. Andrew’s Presbyterian, Islington. They raised and home-schooled four wonderful children; Karis, Caleb, Amanda, and Hannah. Doug and Yvonne are the proud grandparents of Sasha, Gracelyn, Malcolm, Myles, Elsie, Abigail, Jaxson, and AJ.
